Mel is the current President and Owner of Accounting Career Consultants and Pinnacle Staffing Professionals. He combines over 20 years of accounting experience (including public accounting and industry positions up to Controller roles) with over 25 years of staffing experience.
He has worked with and has known many of his candidates and clients for 10-20+ years and focuses on long-term relationships. He joined a partner in the business as a franchise of a national company. Within 10 years he bought out his partner and bought out of his franchise agreement and has grown the company into one of the leading boutique financial staffing firms in St. Louis. In addition to being a CPA, he is also a CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant).

Larry has over 14 years of staffing experience focused on financial executive search. He is a CPA and also has several staffing industry certifications including the CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant), CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) and the CTS (Certified Temporary – Staffing Specialist).
He joined Accounting Career Consultants in 1997 after spending 3 years with one of the Big 4 CPA firms. He quickly became the top billing consultant in the office and before too long was breaking most of the company’s production records. Within three years he had taken on a management role in the organization and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of both Accounting Career Consultants and Pinnacle Staffing Professionals. He has had personal involvement in roughly 400 successfully completed searches.

Teresa started at Accounting Career Consultants in January 2007. Her primary focus is contract and temporary positions in Finance/Accounting. Teresa has over 9 years of staffing industry experience. She has gained prior staffing experience at Randstad USA as a Branch and District Manager. Teresa has over 16 years of combined sales and management experience.
She has worked for Xerox, Merck, Berlex Biotech, and Standard Register. Teresa holds a B.A. in Communications and Marketing and an M.A. in Management from Fontbonne University. Certifications include CPC- Certified Personnel Consultant and CTS Certified Temporary – Staffing Specialist.

Mindy has over 4 years of staffing industry experience with Accounting Career Consultants focusing on direct-hire for accounting and finance.
Prior to Accounting Career Consultants, Mindy had 10 years of experience in sales and management with Nordstrom Inc., where she was the number one manager in sales for 4 years in a row. Mindy has a B.A. in Communications and Culture from Indiana University, Bloomington.

Michelle has over 16 years of staffing industry experience. She joined Accounting Career Consultants in 2010. Prior to joining Accounting Career Consultants, Michelle had built a strong reputation in the financial community working for two other local financial search firms. She also spent two years in public accounting audit with one of the Big 4 firms prior to getting into the industry. Michelle is a CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) in addition to a CPA. She is excited to leverage her industry expertise with Accounting Career Consultants stellar reputation in the marketplace.
Chris Woehle

Chris comes to Accounting Career Consultants after seven years in the financial advisory business with one of the top insurance and financial services companies in the industry. He looks to bring his consultative and relationship-based approach to working with the firm’s clients to help them solve their staffing challenges.
His primary focus will be in developing new Search and Project Staffing business for the firm and evaluating Accounting and Financial Candidates in the St. Louis area for his clients. He will spend his time closely identifying the clients staffing needs and challenges through thorough fact-finding and bringing the most well-aligned candidates to fill those roles and make an impact within these organizations.
Chris has his Bachelors in Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia as well as a Business Minor.
